Here's a review about the Etude House Drawing Eyebrow AD in #grey-brown. This eyebrow pencil was on my wishlist for forever and it's affordable too. I bought it on beautynetkorea.com with the 1+1 event. You should definitely check out their store because they sell many korean cosmetic products for local store price :p This site is by far my favorite online store for korean cosmetic products.
But back to the eyebrow pencil: Etude House's Drawing Eyebrow AD is also available in 6 other shades (dark brown, brown, grey, grey-black, black,grey-brown). There are refills so you don't need to buy another pencil when the one you used gets empty but honestly, I would get a new pencil because it's almost the same price as the normal pencil xD
On one end of the eyebrow pencil is an eyebrow brush and on the other site is the actual eyebrow pencil. You need to twist the site with the eyebrow pencil to use it. The site with the grey-ish cap is the end with the eyebrow pencil.
Etude House Drawing Eyebrow "Your like new and natural looking eyebrows"
This is what the eyebrow brush looks like. There's this arrow with BRUSH on it so you can see ony which site the brush is without having to open both ends . This eyebrow brush is usable and helpful to blend the harsh lines you make while applying this pencil to make them look more natural^^
This is what the actual eyebrow pencil looks like. There actually isn't a lot of product just 2 cm of the pencil !!! ;O; But I already have this eyebrow pencil for 3 months and a little goes a long way, I use it everyday because my eyebrows are so so sparse that I can't go out in public without filling them in ;___; As mentioned above, you need to twist it for the pencil to come out, it's an eyebrow autopencil ^^
Here's a swatch of the color on my hand
You can see that it's really sheer and looks super natural. You don't have to worry about accidently having two caterpillars as your eyebrows lol. The color is grey brown. I actually chosed this color because I wanted dark brown eyebrows but I was worried they'd turn out too dark with dark brown. I'm really happy I chosed this color because I think it's perfect and looks really natural in real life eheh~ I guess you can buy shade grey if you want black eyebrows but want it to look natural.
Here's a swatch what it looks like on my eyebrows
DON'T JUDGE MY EYEBROWS and this photo. It's really blurry but my camera just wouldn't focus on my eyebrows >~< I also autobrushed the photos. I will update it with a better photo later but I think you can see that my after brows look more puffy and cleaner. You can stack the color and make them darker when you apply a bit more of it or press harder but I think too much eyebrow pencil doesn't look good anymore (caterpillars LOL)
Overall Rating:
I loveee this eyebrow pencil and would repurchase it but in a lighter color because I want to dye my hair a bit lighter this summer and I want to experiment if light eyebrows would suit me ;w; I recommend this product to 200% to you if you're looking for easy, natural and straight eyebrows like the eyebrows from all these korean celebrities^^ I think it's really easy to make straight eyebrows with this auto eyebrown pencil. The price is really affordable too and you don't have to worry that you're wasting money because first, this eyebrow pencil is amazing and second, it's only a few USD (maybe around USD$4?? ) . I would say, give it a try ^__^

You can almost see them in person but when I take pictures then it completely vanishes and I look eyebrow-less. ;~; I'll check these out after I use up my Lioele Auto Eyebrow Pencil! Thanks for the review! :D Wei Song (Gin) said on January 29, 2014 at 7:14 PM My eyebrows aren't light, but they're just very short. LOOL They kinda look like little beans above my eyes. Fifi ♥ said on January 30, 2014 at 12:14 AM Ooh, i've never tried the etude house drawing eyebrow pencil before, i've only used their brow mascara and was quite dissapointed in its performance :( aimiichie said on January 30, 2014 at 12:37 AM Oh~ I should look into more eyebrow pencils~ {although...since I've gotten bangs, I haven't even been paying attention to how my bangs look.. OTL #haystack} But the pencil looks really promising! The color looks really natural which is good when it comes to doing your brows~ And I like how cheap it is! xD Michelle said on January 30, 2014 at 1:35 AM This looks really good - especially the price asdfghjkl! I mean $4, that's crazy! Too bad I don't need to fill in my eyebrows - I have a fringe so it would be pretty pointless cause no one's going to see my fuzzies huehuehue. Not to mention, I think I would look crazy with filled in eyebrows. x said on January 31, 2014 at 2:57 PM It filled your eyebrow in really nicely and it looks really natural. Too scared i'll look even more caterpillar-y. *o* But arguhhh i think i'll finally give this a go, since you and other bloggers like it so much, Mindy! ^^ Thanks! Mindy said on March 11, 2014 at 11:16 AM The lightest color is brown! It's pretty light but if you have medium brown hair I would go for the brown one instead because this one is pretty dark for brown hair imo >~< Thanks for reading, I hope this was helpful and happy shopping haha |
