Hello everyone!
![]() So as you can already read in the title.. I dyed my hair!! ♥ I finally decided to dye my hair again after letting it grow out for 1.5 years! I really wanted to have a new look for the new year and I still had an old hair dye from Liese laying around so why not dye my hair with it before it expires haha~ I bought the Liese Bubble Hair Dye in Milk Tea Brown for about 60$hkd when I was in Hong Kong (which is was summer 2014 o.o omg). At first, I was a little hesitant to use it because it's old but I checked the expiration date and it said that this hair dye can be used until 2017 so my hair should be save o.o! There are many other colours you can chose from but I picked the colour Milk Tea Brown because I wanted to lighten up my hair colour a little!^^
Here's a photo with some other colours they have:
I'm not sure if they have even more colours but they have at least 18 colours to chose from~
Here's a photo of everything that was in the packaging:
Solution 1, solution 2, gloves, a allergy test, an introduction and a conditioner
This is what the colour is suppose to look like if you use this hair dye on bleached hair (not black hair!!). Expect it to look much darker when using it on black virgin hair. You can see how your final hair color is going to look like with this little colour guide at the back.
!!Caution!!
Here's the guide and above you could see the caution. Both texts are written in English and Chinese!
All you have to do now is follow the guide step by step!
Don't shake the bottle with the mixed solutions to prevent foaming in the bottle! It's suppose to form bubbles once you squeeze it out and not in the bottle.
Don't forget to wear the gloves in the packaging before starting to spread the foam bubbles onto your hair! There was plenty of product in the bottle left so I put the rest onto my head hahahah~ Don't forget to spread it evenly onto your head tho haha~! After that I let the hair dye soak into my hair for about half an hour because I wanted to get out the max effect haha~ You'll have to rinse it with warm water and shampoo and then use the conditioner they included in the packaging.
The conditioner smelled sooo good !! ♥
Here are the before/ after results! It definitely lightened up my hair!! You can't see well on the photo but you can definitely tell in person that my hair got much lighter, it also had a light red tinge to it because I used it on my almost grown out black hair lol
Here's a photo of my hair about 3-4 weeks after I dyed my hair!
It got a littleee lighter and the red tinge disappeared completely yay but it's also more damaged!
Sorry for this ugly sticker but I hate my nose and my mouth these days >.< Something I started getting self-conscious about
![]()
My experience:
The scent of this hair dye is soooo strong omg. It will make your eyes tear up a little if you don't leave a window open while dyeing your hair! The consistency is like shampoo and therefore easy to use. I noticed while I was laying in bed that night that my scalp burns a little and was really sensitive because the hair dye was that aggressive! There was no stinging or burning throughout the same day though >.< I think this hair dye is awesome for lightening up your hair to a natural medium to dark brown hair colour but it does dry out your hair a lot and I have some split ends now >.< Nevertheless I think it's alright because you can treat it with some conditioner and it should be fine after a month. I don't think this hair dye is recommended for bleaching your hair blonde or for making a dramatic change though because it doesn't lighten them up that well and it's pretty damaging too (I'm little disappointed because I expected it to look a little lighter).
What I like about it
![]()
♥ price
♥ easy to use
♥ even hair colour result
♥ gloves + conditioner included
♥ pretty colour
♥ wide colour range
What I don't like about it
![]()
- smell is really strong
- dries out your hair
- doesn't lighten up your hair that much
Repurchase?: If it's on sale for 60HKD again I would repurchase it in a lighter color but otherwise probably not because the lightening effect isn't that great on black hair. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me in the comment section I will answer them! ♥
------ What's going on in my life at the moment------
I feel so stressed and nervous at the moment because school is ending for me soon. The whole february is filled with exams (3 exams every week *cry* I hope I will do well on them) and I will only have 5 weeks of 'real school' (classes) left. After that I will have about 4 weeks to study for my finals which are in April! I feel like time is passing by too fast and I can't believe school is finally ending for me soon. I don't even know what it will be like to sleep in for the next couple of months until university starts. I'm also really scared to fail the coming exams and get bad result. Also, I'm scared to lose contact to my friends since I won't see them everyday anymore. Another thing that makes me sad but shouldn't is that I really don't have any plans for the time between my graduation and first day of university~ All my friends already made plans without me and I feel like a total loser and outcast because of it. While they have already booked their flight tickets to South Korea, Japan,..etc with other people or even send in their application for studying abroad I really didn't plan anything! I will probably stay home for 3 months and eat cookies in bed. I don't have anyone left to ask to go on vacation with me too because, like I said above, all of them already made plans without me.

So today I want to show you this really nice nail polish I just bought! It's the Innisfree Eco Peel Off Base Coat which you can buy here for USD$ 6.15. I will also include some photos to show you how it works. It's a peel off base coat with which you can peel off nail polish from your nails! I don't know if you experience this too but whenever I want to remove glitter nail polishes with nail polish remover and cotton pads its so freaking hard (and annoying) to remove it and you're literally sitting there for 5 minutes to remove it from one finger -.-" That usually prevents me from using glitter nail polishes because DUH who got the time to do that lol... But let's just let me show you a few photos of the packaging! Labels: beauty, eco peel off base coat pro, innisfree, nail polish, review _
Hello hello~ ✌
Todays post is a review of the Holika Holika Aqua Max Sebum Control Moisture Cream (홀리카 홀리카 아쿠아 맥스 세범 컨트럴 모이스처 크림). This is actually my first korean branded moisture cream! I usually use western brands for skincare but I wanted to try something new so I thought why not give this one a try. I actually choose this cream because I was looking for something that could control my oily skin a little. This one seemed alright and the advertisement sounds promising haha. You can get this cream on beauytnetkorea.com for USD$16.11 (click here).
Something about this product/ Advertisment
This moisture cream is also available in 2 other colors. One in orange (troubled skin/dry skin/malnutritient skin) and the other one in blue (All skin type/ soothes skin). I got the green one for oily skin with alot of sebum and too large pores because my skin is oily and troubled at the moment! >.<Some photos of the packaging This cream comes in a big size with 120ml in it! That's alot for the price. I think this moisture cream is pretty affordable for the amount of cream you get. Usually there's only like 20ml or 50ml in a western moisture cream.
Translation ((by me so may be slightly wrong lol))
- 수분 부족번들거리는 피부의 불필요한 피지를 잡아주고 촉촉하게 채워주다대용량 수분 크림입니다.(Max moisturising cream controles unnecessary sebum on dehydrated skin and moisturizes it) - 히말라야에서 찾아낸 보습 선분으로 건조함 없이 촉촉한 피부로 케어하며 그린 수분 에센스가 피지 콘트롤 및 모공 수렴에 도움을 조어 맑고 투명한 피부로 가꾸어줍다 (Himalaya raspberry leaves care for dry and not moisturized skin. The green moisturising essence controles sebum while keeping pores clean and transparent at the same time) ___________________________________________________________________ [See more about the green moisture ingredient] *Himalaya Raspberry Leaf *Green Moisture Essence [Aloe Vera/Mealow Sweet/ Green Tea]: Maintains skin moisture balance while helps removing unnecessary sebum on skin with noticeable sebum controle effect. So here are a few photos of the sides of the packaging. It's really hard to read anything because well.. pastel blue with white color wasn't the best idea lol The jar with the moisture cream is made out of glass so be careful not to drop it! >-< I love how it looks like the top is made out of cork but actually its made out of plastic haha The product name is printed on a little transparent sticker on the bottom of the jar The jar has these little dents all over the packaging. It's a little easier to grab it and it won't slip out of your hand easily anymore. The smell of the Holika Holika Aqu Max Moisture Cream is kinda like every Korean moisture cream somehow? It smells like flowers and berries but a little fresh at the same time haha. When applied on the skin it feels a little cooling and lightweight. It does feel a little sticky for the first 5 minutes but after that its totally fine. I usually really hate sticky creams but I don't mind in this one because it feel super lightweight and it feels like nothing is on your face at all. All you can feel is the fresh- and coolness of this moisture cream, it's so nice haha~ :'-) I recommend putting it into the fridge if you live in an humid country for the extra cooling effect! About the sebum control, I did notice a slight difference but it's nothing really dramatic in my opinion. I usually get an oily nose after about 3-4 hours after washing my face. This time I couldn't feel as much oil as usual on my nose after about 6-8 hours. So I would say it does help a little because it feels like it would kinda bind your oil into the cream?? I'm not sure how to describe this but it doesn't feel uncomfortable or something, it actually feels nice as well! It didn't break me out yet either. I will update this post if this cream gives me break outs or improves my skin by alot! It does also moisturize your face really well for the whole day. I can say that this cream is alot better than my old face moisturizer because my last one felt so heavy, sticky and it didn't control my oily skin at all! (I used Hildegart Braukemann Balance Cream for references). I do not think its enough moisture for very dry skin though but its nice for oily or combination skin!
Overall Rating:
Moisture: ♥♥♥♥♡
Sebum Control: ♥♥♥♡♡
Scent: ♥♥♥♥♥
Price: ♥♥♥♥♥
I would recommend this moisture cream to people with oily and troubled skin because it feels really lightweight. I'm not sure about dry skin but I honestly think there are better creams out there for people with dry skin than this one. (I mean why would you buy a sebum control moisture cream when you have dry skin? lol)
If you would like to buy the Holika Holika Aqua Max Moisture Cream
you can get it here for USD$ 16.11 !
((Btw this review is not sponsored so you can be sure that this review is to 200% my own opinion))

OK first, CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS YAAY. I'm almost done with all my exams for this year, only one left !! ♥ I will finally have more time for this blog and for doing nothing and being unproductive haha. Books I recommend to all of you are: Haruki Murakami's Norwegian Wood and Hard-boiled wonderland and the end of the world! I love these books so far and they helped me alot to feel calm and less stressed whenever I was sad and worn out from life and school in general. My results are okay so far as well hehe~ I'm so proud of my maths and englisch exam LOL OTL. I only need to work alot on my class participation. Everything will be fine then but I can do it, hopefully ;;; Also, I'm going to host a giveaway soon too, yay! I wanted to post it a couple of months ago but I forgot about it but I'm going to post it next year for sure! I'm sure you all will like the prices because it will be a 3 Concept Eyes product and a lot of other nice stuff (I don't want to spoiler anymore haha). I bought most of it while I was in Hong Kong (which was a few months ago) but don't worry everything is still in perfect condition xD I would never give you old or even expired stuff! I'm still not sure if I'm going to post the giveaway post next or do a circle lens review first ;;; Please comment below which option you would prefer~!
Thanks for reading my boring posts ♥

Hallo my lovely readers~~!!
Today I'm really, really happy to blog about my hair dye experience with the Liese Bubble Hair Color! I finally decided to try out this hair dye beause I heard so many good reviews about it! I chose the color #Jewel Pink because I really wanted to try out something new ♥ While I was in Hong Kong on my trip I found this hair dye in Watson for only 5€ (~6.50USD$) and decided to do this ( ゚▽゚)/ I wasn't sure if I should write a complete review about this hair dye or just post a before/after photo of my new hair and make it more personal with more text but decided to write a short review about it but not as detailed as usually and write alot of personal stuff in it~! ♥ I will show you a few photos of the packaging first :3 This shade is suppose to be a medium brown with pink hues in it! It looks so cute and lovely on the box so I totally had to get it! It's similiar to the Etude House Bubble Dye (which I really wanted to try but didn't get it because it was expensive online ㅠㅠ) so I totally had to get this one instead! If you look at the back of the box you can see what the color should turn out on dark, medium and light hair. I have dark to medium brown hair because my roots are growing out so it should be something like the first or second color on the back hehe~ Here's everything that was in the box: Everything is written in Japanese on the bottle but the introduction has an English translation on it~ I was already super excited to try this out and read everything twice before actually dying my hair >.< ♥ Here's the introduction and other caution steps etc.. Before I dyed my hair the roots were already showing up an it looked really ugly. I always try to only re-dye them when it's getting really ugly and not bearable because I read somewhere that women who dye their hair more than 9 times a year have a 60% higher chance of getting blood cancer ㅠㅠ This scares me so much omg.. so please don't dye your hair that often too ~~!! D: Here's a before photo of my hair before I dyed it with the Liese Bubble Hair Color. You can see my ugly hair roots showing up in black (._.) Sorry for the really greasy hair, I read that you shouldn't wash your hair 12 hours before dyeing it and I just read that in the morning when I was planning to dye it (;_・) First, you need to mix the two solutions~
You really aren't suppose to shake the bottle to mix the two solutions because the foam will form in the bottle and you won't be able to get it out with the dispenser \(--)/
When applying the foam onto your hair, the best way to do it is to part your hair in two sections at the back and apply it to the back of your head first! That's what they said in the introduction so I just said what they wrote there :3 When I was finished with applying it evenly and massaging it into my hair, it looked like this: By the way, I only used 1 bottle for my whole hair and it was completely enough (as you can see on the photos). In fact, It could have been enough for me and my brother haha. My hair ends under my bust and is quite thick, like typical asian hair~! Thanks to my brother for taking these photos ♥ You need to let it set into your hair for 20~30 minutes depending on how hard your hair is to dye. I let it sit there for 30 minutes because I was scared it would turn out dark or my roots wouldn't be dyed probably >.< The smell of this dye was horrible though, you really have to let your bathroom door open or your will suffocate lol After 20~30 minutes you need to shampoo it 2 times and use the rinse-off treatment in the Liese Bubble Hair Color box! The rinse-off treatment smells really nice, like peaches or something like that ♥♥♥ Totally love it O(≧∇≦)O ♥
Here is the after result on my hair:
I think my new hair color looks really nice and it turned out ALOT lighter than when I use hair dyes in Europe! The end color is medium brown with reddish undertone~ I think my black hair at the roots got lighter in 2-3 shades, it's really amazing ! My roots aren't visible anymore but the end result isn't totally even but it's okay in my opinion :3 My hair color wasn't even at the beginning to start with ㅠㅠ Here's a before/ after comparison photo so you don't have to scroll up to see it lol The new color looks like my old color just on my roots on the photos but in rl it isn't at all !! It looks more reddish and hazelnut-like than before. It's also a bit lighter than in the photo. When I use flash in photos it looks a bit pinkish ( ̄▽ ̄)ノ♥ One thing I noticed is that my scalp was itching or more like burning(?) slightly like crazy after dying it !!! It was awful to sleep that night but it stopped itching and all that stuff after 1 day so not a big deal for me but it might bother other people~ About the damage, I think my hair is abit damaged after dyeing it but it's okay as long as you take care with hair masks etc after your dyed it ! I also bought a new hair mask from the brand KAO in Hong Kong, too. Has anyone ever tried or heard of the Essential Airy Nuance Hair Mask? I saw Bubzbeauty raving about this hair mask so I was like why not, it was only 4€ (5.25USD$) there anyways :D So, you might have noticed that I was all excited while typing this post hehe >.< ♥ I'm super satisfied with the end color and I'm probably going to try out more Liese Bubble Hair Dyes in the future! I'm just kinda worried what my hair will look like when the hair color fades out after a few months :O If I don't forget to I will update it with an 'after a month' photo~ **UPDATE AFTER 1 MONTH** I feel like my hair is damaged by alot. Honestly I'm not sure if its because I often dye my hair or if it's because of this particular hair dye from Liese... But I noticed more split ends on my hair and it kind of feels dry on the second day when I don't use any hair mask or conditioner after washing my hair! I was planning to cut my hair short when it gets worse over winter time and let it grow out back to black hehe. I still have another Liese hair dye left so I will probably try that one next summer when I have my black virgin hair back and let you guys know if it was the hair dye or just my overly dyed hair lol. About the colour, I think its still about the same color! The red undertone disappeared and yup that was it. No dramatic changes over the time~!
_____________
So this was it for today! It's actually 12pm as I'm typing this post hahah >.< ♥
Good night everyone~!
