Hera UV Mist Cushion Nude in #23 ♥
_
Hello everyone!
I'm back with another review of the Hera UV Mist Cushion Nude in shade 23. I got this cushion from antcosmall.com in exchange for a review, nevertheless my opinion will be 100% my own! Do check out antcosmall.com though they have great deals (especially for sheet masks guys!) and free shipping worlwide!

I was already super excited for this cushion because I wanted to try it out for SO long but was always too stingy to get buy it with my own money haha. I heard korean idols use this cushion too so my expectations were pretty high.

They sent me this cushion "set"which includes:
- a cushion case with a refill (15g)
- one extra refill (15g)

Shipping from antcosmall.com was fast (~11 days from South Korea to Germany) and I'm very happy with it, they even sent me gummi bears as a gift which is so sweet & thoughtful, thank you very much!

This is what the cushion case looks like:
I love the white/lilac design omg

I got this cushion in the shade 23
(I'm a NC25 and the shade was a perfect match!)

There's a small mirror on the inside for on-the-go application
and a cushion sponge

You should close the lid tightely after each usage to prevent the hera cushion from drying out fast.
You can also throw out this sticker after your first usage.

The sponge is like a regular cushion sponge but I somehow feel like I run out of this cushion so much faster than with my other cushions or maybe I just used more of this one. I start to run out of it after a month

The cushion sponge is blue on the other side and looks like a regular cushion sponge. The sponge is a little more dense and stiffer than Missha and Etude House cushion sponges. I personally prefer this one much over the other sponges because I feel like they make my base makeup application much easier and more even than those super soft sponges.

Here's the coverage test of the Hera UV Mist Cushion Nude:
It seems like the coverage is pretty light. It will even out your skin tone but won't cover up scars, hyperpigmentations or rednesses completely. If you have many skin problem I wouldn't recommend this cushion.

Hera UV Mist Cushion Nude swatches on my face:
The finish looks SO natural and slightly dewy/glowy imo. It didn't highlight my dry cheeks at all and feels very moisturizing and light on my combination-dry skin. The finish looks like you would have sprayed mist all over your face, just like the name haha.

It does a decent job at covering up my pores and canceling out uneven skintones. Look how natural and skin-like it looks omg. It does highlight chapped, flaky skin patches though. I had some problems with it on my chin, it seems like this cushion isn't suitable for uneven skin texture.

So you definitely need to exfoliate regulary to wear this cushion but I honestly think that this cushion already does a great job at moisturizing and not highlighting dry skin. The Missha Magic cushion and A'Pieu Air Fit cushion even highlighted the dry skin on my cheeks but this one doesn't do this, I think the Hera cushion is already pretty good in that aspect.

The staying power isn't that great though. I started to look a little shiny/ oily after 4 hours, especially on my oily areas. You can definitely fix this with a touch up or a little powder but this is something to keep in mind if you have oily skin!

My Personal Rating

I LOVE this cushion and it's the best cushion I have tried so far for winter. It's really nice for dry skin and looks super natural. I think people with dry skin and not many skin problems will love this cushion because of its natural finish and moisturizing feeling. I would stay away from this cushion if you have oily skin or major skin problems because it won't look very flattering on these skin types.

If you're interested in the Hera UV Mist Cushion, you can get it on antcosmall.com for $33.44 here!

Review: BBIA Last Lipstick in #4 #12 #13 (Intelligent, Dreamy, Artistic) ♥
_
Hello everyone!
I don't know if you guys have noticed but I've been blogging a lot these past few days because my exams are finally over and I will go on a trip to Singapore and Bangkok soon, I'm so excited! That also means that I will have a lot of time for the next two weeks and want to blog as much as possible and cross many things off of my "to-do list". My goal is to blog at least every two days now!

Back to the post, I recently ordered 3 BBIA Last Lipsticks on beautynetkorea.com because they had a huge BBIA & EGLIPS sale a few weeks ago. I got super excited and just couldn't resist not getting any of them. One Last Lipstick was only 4$ and an eye pigment was under 2$, I'm still so shocked at the prices! I grabbed the colors #4 Intelligent, #12 Dreamy and #13 Artistic! I couldn't decide which one to get from them so I just got them all HAHA.

Here are some photos of the packaging:

 4 Intelligent / 12 Dreamy / 13 Artistic

Photos of the real BBIA Last Lipstick packaging:

I'm honestly not a big fan of the packaging, they looked super gorgeous on the adervtisement photos because I thought they would be made out of metal but it's actually plastic, so they feel very light and a little cheap tbh.

The packaging of the shade #4 Intelligent is lighter than the other two shades because they're from different series. While #4 is from series 1 the other two Last Lipsticks are from their series 3 which was a fall series.

Here are some snaps of the Last Lipstick bullets:

 4 Intelligent / 12 Dreamy / 13 Artistic

I just wanted to show the different packaging of the series 1 & 3 haha

Maybe I will get to like the packaging more later on. Also, don't twist up this lipstick too much or it might break! You really have to be careful because the formula of this lipstick is very creamy and soft. More photos with shade names:

Here are some hand swatches:
I took some swatches indoors (above) and outdoors (below) so you can get a better impression of the colors. I feel like shade 12 and shade 13 look very, very similar on the swatches but 13 is more on the red side in rl while 12 has more of an orange undertone to it! They're both definitely no mlbb lipsticks just to warn you guys.

All shades have a matte/velvet finish.

04 Intelligent 지적: Is a rose pink/mauve color. This color seems to be very suitable for everyday wear or work/office makeup. Suppose to be a dupe for NARS Dolce Vita!

12 Dreamy 몽상적: Is pumpkin/rose color with an orange undetone. It's very hard to describe this color because it kind of looks like a MLBB rose color mixed with a pumpkin orange. It's still wearable for daily situations though. I like this shade the best. This shade is more pink/rose than #13.

13 Artistic 예술적: Is a toned down tomato red lipstick with an orange undertone. It's brighter than #12 and more suitable for a classy/feminine-night makeup look imo. It looks like a bright orange/tomato color on my lips. This shade is more red than #12.

I tried to remove the lipsticks after some time with a tissue (no water involved).

This is what it looked like:

It seems like the lipsticks also kind of stain or "stick" to the skin, like wax. The lipsticks don't feel heavy or thick though, they feel very lightweight and the formula applies very thin and pigmented.

Here are the lip swatches:
I didn't try to make my lips look flawless so you guys can see what it looks like on dry & flaky lips, If you don't have such concersn the colors will probably look like on my upper lip.

Bare lips / 04 Intelligent
13 Artistic / 12 Dreamy

The BBIA Last Lipsticks seem to accentuate dry and flaky lips a little but it doesn't look as bad as with other matte lipsticks. The dry flakes aren't visible from some distance and won't really catch people's eyes I think. I'm probably the best model to test if it accentuates dry & flaky lips because my lips are always dry and flaky no matter how much lip balm I apply. The darker shades look very, very orange on the photos but in real life, they're more red (it was very hard to catch the real colors). They look more like on my outdoor hand swatches (second one)! They feel very comfortable and lightweight on my lips and the brighter shades will even stain a little and stay after eating a small amount of non-greasy food.

I honestly really, really like these lipsticks and think they're absolutely worth the price (4~6$). You have to be careful when picking a shade because it seems like the advertisement photos from BBIA aren't accurate at all so you should try to find some more reviews of your shade. However, I think everyone will love shade #04 Intelligent because it's very natural and versatile. Suzy wore this in one of her photoshootings.

I hope you will have a lovely day! ♥

Hellooo everyone!

So how have you all been doing? It's been a while since my last post and I want to apologize for not posting regulary but today I want to share some great news with you!

I'm officially a Pink Bird member from Etude House! YES *screams*

I always wanted to be one and I feel so honoured and excited about it ahhh I can't believe it and I still feel so overly lucky haha. It has been one of my biggest blogger dreams for years!
From now on, I will receive a Pink Bird Box filled with the newest makeup collections from Etude House every month. This sponsorship will last for the next 6 months which means that I'll be able to review 6 boxes in total ♥

Today I will show you the Pink Bird Box they sent me for this month (january)!
This post is going to be very, very, very photo-heavy so sit down and relax

Everything was packed into this cute lilac Etude House box, there's this little Etude House card with some information about the products inside. It looks so cute, I'm probably gonna keep this for some of my own notes (I'm so in love with the card design! )

This is everything they sent me:

They honestly sent me so much and even some cute accessories they didn't mention before! I asked them to help me pick a BB cream based on my MAC shade and they did such a great job, I'm very happy about the shades they picked for me (both for the eyeshadows and the BB cream)!

Kailijumei Flower Lipstick (Summer Simplicity) ♥
_
Hello everyone!!

I'm back with another review of the Kailijumei Flower Lipstick which was sent to me by amabie.com! I always wanted to have one of these flower lipsticks. I saw them everywhere on Instagram but I guess I'm quite late with this trend now haha

Anyway, keep reading if you're interested!

They sent me two extra sheet masks to the lipstick (which is so kind of them omg T_T!)

The Kailijumei flower lipstick came in this see through plastic packaging! It looks different from the other Kailijumei lipsticks I saw online but I guess this is something like the summer version? I actually don't mind because I think it looks so pretty too!

 Short description and ingredient list

Here's the exciting part!! The design of the lipstick looks so simple yet elegant and expensive! There's a cursive "Kailijumei" on the side of the lipstic. I'm so in love with the packaging as well >.<

I got #01 which is red

Another shot of the oh so pretty Kailijumei flower lipstick! I'm so in love with the flower in it and I also love how this version has a slight pink hue in it and is not clear like the original version!

Here are some swatches of the lipstick
The lipstick is clear at first but turns into a really pretty pink/fuchsia color after a few seconds. I also noticed that this lipstick will stain your lips. I didn't really expected it to stain because of the sheer pink color of the lipstick itself and was so surprised! I like it though because you will still have some color on your lips after your lipstick has worn off.

I tried out the lipstick while I had really dry and chapped lips and the lipstick glided on super smoothly and felt so soft! I was surprised because I was expecting it to cling onto my dry lip patches and looking super disgusting but it didn't~! It might dry out your lips after a while even more :s

The scent is really sweet but artificial, it reminds me of the Flic & Lick lollies from my childhood haha so it was a very pleasant smell and nothing too strong. The taste of it is horrible though. After applying it onto my lips I could immediately taste a waxy, chemical and plastic-like taste? After a while I got used to it and couldn't really taste it anymore but it was seriously disgusting

Here's a swatch of the lipstick on my lips. I'm usually not a big fan of fuchisa/pink lipsticks but this color is so pretty and not too much, I really like it and can see myself wearing this lipstick more often from now on! I think it would be great for daily wear too because it looks pretty natural and the color is a little sheer.. I don't know if I want to use up this lipstick though..it's too pretty!

What I like about it
 ♥ packaging & lipstick design
♥ glides on smoothly
♥ color
♥ doesn't accentuate dry lips
♥ scent

What I don't like about it
♥ waxy, plastic-like taste
♥ a little drying
♥ too pretty to use xD

And here's a selfie with me wearing the lipstick XD
it's really bad quality because I took it with the front camera of my phone lol .....but I'm just gonna post my selfies and leave lmao

Thanks for reading my review! ♥
